Against Turbines At Chiplow

Against Turbines At Chiplow (ATAC) is a group formed in August 2007 to fight the proposals by E.On UK to build a wind farm at Chiplow in West Norfolk, UK.

Chiplow is situated off the A148, seven miles west of Fakenham and ten miles east of Kings Lynn.  It is bounded by the villages of Bagthorpe, Barmer, Syderstone and Bircham and is about ten miles inland from the Norfolk coast.

The planning application for 5 turbines was REFUSED on 18 April 2011

The planning application number is 10/00883/FM, for details click here

The applicant (E.ON) has appealed and the Public Inquiry will commence on 31 January 2012

It will be a joint inquiry with the Jacks Lane wind farm between Stanhoe & South Creake
