South Creake Wind Farm
WHAT CAN YOU DO ?
Although the anemometer mast has been in place since 2005, a planning application for the wind farm itself has not yet been submitted. Therefore, there is no point in sending objections to the Borough Council or DECC at this time.
However it is important to contact your Borough Councillor and your Parish Councillors to make them aware of your concerns. It will be essential that all the nearby Parish Councils present a united front.
It is early days yet, the details of the wind farm only emerged in the Lynn News on 21 April 2009. An action group has been formed to fight the proposal. It is called Creakes Action for Protecting the Environment (CAPE). Donations to the fighting fund may sent to The Treasurer, ‘Cornflake Barn’, Bluestone Road, South Creake, Fakenham, Norfolk, NR21 9LY. Please make your cheque payable to C.A.P.E.
If you are prepared to write a couple of letters, deliver
