The
location of the South Creake wind farm site is approximately 8 km north west of
Fakenham, Norfolk, as shown in the hatched area on the map below:

The
map below shows an enlargement of the hatched area above. The red line is the boundary of the site and
the yellow line is the boundary of South Creake Parish Council. The yellow north south line, with the number
69 against it, is the track known as Jack’s Lane, which divides the site in
half. As well as being the boundary
between the parishes of South Creake and Barwick, it is also the boundary
between the two landowners, namely Barwick Hall Farm (owned by Melton Harrold)
and Bluestone Farm (owned by Miss Jean Papworth and estate managed by her
nephew William Topham). The red cross
is the position of the anemometer mast at OS map reference E583180 N335415:
